Kollywood is upbeat about acclaimed Bollywood actor Nana Patekar playing an important role in director Lingusamy's next venture Bheema which stars Vikram in the lead role.

Though several directors approached Nana Patekar before, it was Lingusamy who finally managed to convince him.

Asked how did he pull it off, an enthusiastic Lingusamy says, it took a lot of efforts from him and Vikram to make Nana accept the role.

Apparently, Vikram had done a neat job of translating Lingusamy's script in a language understood by the Marathi stage actor.

Both Vikram and Nana Patekar have won National awards for their performance. When such talented actors team up one can certainly expect a lot in the movie, says Lingusamy.

'There is a lot of life in the city-based character of Vikram. It's not feasible to pencil out the lines of Nana at this juncture', says Lingusamy.
