The annual festival of Kapali Temple in Mylapore in Chennai was held last week.

Utilizing the opportunity director Vasanth shot a few sequences of his new movie featuring Prithviraj and Padamapriya amidst all festivity in the busy streets of Mylapore. The movie is titled Satham Podathae.

Asked why a crowded location to shoot a film, Vasanth says, 'The advantage of shooting during the actual festival is two-fold. The scenes will be colorful and the festival would also be documented.'

Vasanth is planning to complete the movie in a single go and release this Deepavali.
