Meera bitten by direction bug

Malluwood heroines like Padma Priya and Navya Nair recently expressed their desire to wield the megaphone in future.

Now Meera Jasmine has joined the list.

Meera Jasmine, who is currently shooting for Nilavu directed by Lenin Rajendaran, said 'I have been getting good roles in Tamil and Malayalam.'

'My recent Tamil films like Kasthoorimaan, Sandakozhi and Mercury Pookal, gave me enough scope to display a gamut of emotions. I am happy that my roles as getting recognized by the masses.'

Asked whether she would direct in future, Meera says, 'I am passionate about films. Having worked with established and famous directors and watching them in close quarters, I think it is no wrong idea to wield the megaphone one day'.
