Agni who dashed against three films (Zero, World and Autograph Please) to direct has become hero from 'Bhakta' Kannada film. The climax of this film shooting was held in the premises of working women's hostel in Nagavara recently. Agni shivering in cold, tonsured head, stitches on his face and blood oozing out was looking like a beggar. The brutalised hero has come to this stage when he takes up a decision that it is not possible to win love from violence. That was the climax shot. In that situation he comes to the heroine Varsha and beg her to love. She does not oblige. Agni walks back. This sequence was arranged with many onlookers by director Sriram. In 58 days the shooting for this film was held at Chickmagalur, KGF and Mandya. Two real life reformed rowdies - Ramanna and Shankara are playing similar roles. Their portion of shooting was held at their former dens says director Sriram.

Varsha the heroine of moderate hit film 'Nenapirali' plays the college lecturer (in real life she is still a student). The transformation portion in the film is very interesting she opines.
