It was on the cards for some time. Director Gowtham Menon and actor Sarath Kumar joining hands for a movie. Though initially they denied it as rumors, now it is confirmed that the two are coming together a movie.

It has been titled Parunthu, a bird on the prowl always.

Buzz was that Simran might stage her comeback with the movie. It now seems that she has been replaced by actress Shobana. Jyothika plays an important role.
