Actress Keerthi Chawla played second fiddle to Namitha in Arjun's Aanay. Though the movie did not have a successful run, the actress has managed to bag a couple of offers in Tamil now.

She is currently assigned to play the lead roles in Uyir Ezhuthu and 1999, which marks the entry of Vijayakanth's cousin to silver screen.

Keerthi Chawla says, 'though I played a second heroine in Aanay, I am happy that my acting credentials have been recognized by the Tamil film industry and I am getting steady offers here now. I would love to perform in meaningful roles and do justice to my films'.
