RDB garners record opening

We had mentioned it earlier that Rang De Basanti had opened to full houses across country. Now the worldwide gross figures prove that it was not just India but even overseas where RDB opened to bumper collections.

As per the press release by the makers of the movie, the movie has garnered a staggering 22.8 crores worldwide gross. And that's just from the opening weekend, with rest of the week to follow.

Going by this rate, the movie is on its way to be the first super hit of 2006.
