Dashing hero Darshan plays what Tamil actor Vijay had played in 'Thirupachchi'. The super hit Tamil film Thirupachchi' directed by Perarasu also starred Trisha as counterpart to Vijay. The combination of Darshan and director P.N.Sathya is teaming up again after massive hits of 'Majestic, Daasa, and Shastri' and one debacle 'Saradara'.

'Melkote' tentatively titled (the title 'Melkote' is registered by someone else in the Film Chamber of Karnataka) goes on the floors on 14th of December at Mysore. Near the Chamundi Hills the 40 feet huge Chamundeswari idol is getting ready for the shooting purpose. Most part of the shooting will be held at this set and in some of the villages says producer Ajantha Raju who is producing this film in association with H.N.Maruthi. Ajantha Raju is in the film making since 25 years in Kannada and Telugu. His film 'Sahodarara Savaal' starring Vishnuvardhana and Rajanikanth was super duper hit.

Sadhu Kokila is scoring the music and Ajaji Nagaraj the best friend of actor Darshan is handling the camera.
