She has a striking figure and beautiful face to go with it.

Yet, Pooja is still to strike it rich here.

Pooja is, however, hopeful of establishing her presence soon.

The actress has got a couple of releases in the coming weeks opposite Madhavan and Prashanth respectively.

Pooja says, 'Both my movies Thambi and Thagappansamy have come good. I play a matured and a homely role in both. It is a challenge to do a role with less glamour but more scope to perform.'

Pooja will be doing two more movies in Tamil besides one in Telugu, she says.

Pooja was recently at the Children's Hospital to spend a day with cancer affected children.

‘Ever since my childhood I have been visiting such places and spend some time with these children only to keep them happy’, she adds.

Pooja, who started as a model co-ordinator, enter films by happenstance.

She has been taken note of as one of the bright young things. She has acted with teenybopper heroes like Ajith, Madhavan and Arya.
