Director Seeman is known for talking things bold and loud.

Undeterred at the delay of his project Thambi starring Madhavan in the lead role, Seeman says, 'Tamil industry is in a bad state now'.

But why does he feel so? Seeman says, 'the director is not given the due recognition here. The industry is madly behind crass comedy and item numbers'.

But is it not the case same every where else too?

Seeman says 'Malayalam film industry always respects its directors. Unfortunately, Tamil filmdom has always been hero-centric.Earthy and emotional movies go unnoticed'.

The audiences are ready to accept good movies. Autograph and Kadhal are a pointer to this. But the industry is not encouraging us to come out regularly with such attempts,he says.

Seeman, a one-time associate of director Manivannan, has taken to acting. He is to play a cameo in Cheran starrer Aadum Koothu to be directed by Malayalam director T V Chandran.
