Madhavan is all thrilled now. The reason - he has been appreciated by no less person than the Big B himself.

Madhavan, who is hosting a game show Deal Ya Na Deal on Sony TV, says, ' I was appreciated by Amitabh Bachchan recently for hosting the game show well. It is a great compliment in my life', he says.

Currently acting in Arya, a bi-lingual, Madhavan says, 'an actor has to perform in a variety of films. He should not restrict himself to one particular style. I played the macho man in Ayudha Ezhuthu and Run, whereas in Priyasakhi it was a sweet husband's role while in Arya, it's mix of good and bad elements'.

Indeed with such diverse experiments, Madhavan is becoming highly popular in urban centers.
