Director Hari, who is directing Aaru for his mentor Saran's home production, says, 'I have a great responsibility on my shoulders to ensure a hit in Aaru'.

Speaking about the movie, he says, 'after a movie for KB's Kavithalaya, I am doing Aaru for Saran, with whom I have worked for sometime. This is indeed a happy thing.'

On the story, Hari says, it is a movie about local rowdies in Chennai city. However, it would not have any gory violence and can be watched with the whole family.

Expressing gratitude to Saran for giving a free hand to him, Hari says, 'Surya is a great actor who improvises his role well. Trisha is a bundle of energy and contributes her best. I think Aaru has all ingredients to make it big'.

Aaru has all the ingredients to be a good commercial entertainer.
