Life's charm is its endless ironies.

While non-Telugu actresses re ruling the roost in Tollywood, a blue-riban Telugu girl is calling the shots in Malayalam. And she is happy about.

Well, Laya, the actress in question, has nothing much to show for in Telugu these days. but she has indeed struck it rich in Malluwood.

Laya, who is also doing MCA simultaneously, has done films with Mohanlal and Jayaram. Another one with Suresh Gopi is in the pipleline.

Does she have any regrets about not acting in Telugu? Of course, she has. 'But I am just making the most out of the offers that are coming my way', she says.

After Thommanum Makkalum (Mazaa in Telugu) with Mammooty, now she is acting with Suresh Gopi.

Laya is also doing a Kannada movie with Shivaraj Kumar. Her only Telugu film in hand is a devotional flick.
