Following Kushboo, it's now the turn of actress Suhasini Manirathnam to incur the wrath of Tamil organizations and some film personalities for reportedly defending Kushboo's remarks on pre-marital sex which created a kerfuffle recently.

Condemning Suhasini for tendering ‘an apology on behalf of the Tamils for holding protests against the actress’, DPI general secretary Thol Thirumavalavan said, it was surprising that an actress like Suhasini has defended such irresponsible statements made by Kushboo. ‘Now Suhasini has brought disrepute to the Tamils and she should apologize for her act'.

Veteran actress Manorama has stated that it is an issue that had come to an end. ‘Now making statements bringing the whole controversy alive should be condemned. She should have refrained from making such statements'.

On his part, director Seeman has said 'Suhasini has crossed the limits by seeking an apology on behalf of Tamils to Kushboo. It should be condemned'.

The pot is on the boil again.
