The vexatious Kushboo issue has not died down yet.

Her interview on pre-marital sex shook the State after Tamil chauvinist organizations staged protests and filed cases against the actress a few weeks ago.

When everyone thought the issue was dead and gone, it reared its head again on Wednesday when the actress taking part in the inauguration of an international film festival stated that she was not ashamed of what she had uttered and people only mistook her.

I was misunderstood, she added.

Meanwhile, actress Suhasini Manirathnam, who took part in the function took the side of Kushboo and said protests against Kushboo brought disgrace to the Tamil community.

Endorsing Kushboo's view, she said, 'on behalf of the entire Tamil community I seek an apology from the actress.'

The engine of trouble seems to have been restarted.
