After his big success in Arindhum Ariyamalum, director Vishnuvardhan began a new film named Pattiyal starring Bharath and his lucky mascot Arya in the lead roles.
Produced by Punnagai Poovae Geetha, the movie went to the floors on Wednesday at a simple muhurat held at Vishnuvardhan's office in Chennai.
Interestingly the movie would feature Malluwood star Padmapriya, who is making her debut with Cheran's Thavamai Thavamirundhu.
Yuvan Shankar Raja would compose the music while Nirav Shah will handle the cinematography.
