Ajith may have come out from a spot of bother after consecutive flops by signing movies for director Bala's home production and the famed AVM.

But the fate of his Godfather, which has been under production for over six months,still hangs in balance.

Rumors are agog that the movie has been dropped and would never grace theatres since its producer NIC Arts Chakravarthy is in deep financial constraint.

While Ajith has commenced his next Paramasivan and director K S Ravikumar his Saravana,it is being said that Godfather has been shelved.

When contacted Ajith's camp, ‘no’ is their reply. There are only a few days of shoot left and it is all up to Ravikumar to complete the project. ‘We are confident that he would find some time between his busy schedule in Saravana to complete Godfather’.

However it looks like a distant dream.
