Chatrapathi's audio in the form of cassette has already made it to the markets.

The songs are doing fine and Keeravani's music has done well with the masses (for detailed delineation of songs see the audio review section).

But the albums were released directly in the market without any show of fanfare.

As if to compensate for the lack of a big function, the audio CD of the songs were released in a highly sentiment-ridden function yesterday. Just as well then as the film itself is said to have plenty of cloying sentiments.

Mothers of the cast and crew were at hand to do the honors yesterday at the Rama Naidu Studios.

Prabhas' mother Siva Kumari released the audio and was received by her son. Rajamouli's mother (Raja Nandini) and sister Valli (sister-in-law of Rajamouli) handed over a CD to him.

Producer Bhogavally Prasad's wife Vijaya Lakshmi handed over one to her daughter Padma. Music director's aunt Radha did the honors to him.

The atmosphere was liberally sprinkled with soft sentiments. Producer Dil Raju, who was special guest, had some nice words to say on the songs.

Everyone felt that the soft emotions that were seen on the occasion was a good augury for the film that is to be released next week.
