No doubt the success of Ullam Ketkumae has brought smiles back in Shaam's face.

But it has made him more matured and responsible. 'I firmly believed that people will one day recognize me. It has come true with Ullam Ketkumae', he says.

I never ran away from defeats, says an optimist Shaam who hopes a similar show in next ABCD. My character in ABCD is something that you see in everyday life. It's a good performance oriented role. Certainly, fans can see a new and a different Shaam in ABCD'.

Not keen to accept all the offers that come his way after the successful run of Ullam Ketkumae, Shaam says, 'those who have seen my films in the past say that I have acted well in them.

But all say that my selection of stories were bad. Ullam Ketkumae had a good storyline and hence it became a hit. I am keen to select good scripts and do them one after another'.

Time to walk the talk,Shaam.
