Srikanth feels he has got a new lease of life.

‘When my chips were down, Kanaa Kanden helped me gather my energy and momentum back in Tamil filmdom’,says Srikanth.

Speaking at a function held near Chennai on Saturday to commemorate the 100 days of the film, the actor thanked director K V Anand.

Giving away the awards to the technicians worked in Kanaa Kanden, Surya said, I was initially offered the villain role played by Prithviraj. Since I was pre-occupied with my commitments, I could not play the role’.

P C Sriram also took part in the function and gave away shields to the technicians.

Speaking on the occasion, Anand said, ‘thanks to Srikanth, Gopika , Vivek, Prithviraj, the movie has completed a successful run. All credit should go them’.
