Kamal Haasan is in no mood to take any more of the nonsense.

He is not ready to take lying down poisonous rumors like the one that did the rounds last week that he was responsible for the suicide of attempt of producer Khaja Mohideen.

A tough-talking Kamal, taking part in the muhurat of the film Paruthy Veeran said some people are trying to provoke me. "I love not just cinema. I love humanness more than this profession. I salute good people."

And then he enigmatically added don't 'provoke me'. The import of these words was not lost on the industry as it has been uncharitably critical of him.

Meanwhile, Paruthy Veeran starring actor Shivakumar's son Karthik, in the lead role and directed by Ameer went to floors Thursday.

The movie stars Priyamani opposite Karthik in the lead role. Prominent film personalities including Manirathinam, Shiva Kumar, Yuvan Shankarraja, Surya and Sathyaraj took part in the muhurat.

The movie will be completed and released this January, says Ameer.
