It could be the casting coup of the season.

ANR, Nags and Mohan Babu, all in one film may sound too fanciful. But looks like it is going to happen.

Nags's next film Sri Ramadasu, to be directed K Raghavendra Rao, is already the talk of the town as it pits him in the eponymous role while his father ANR plays the role of Kabir.

As if this was not enough, the news trickling is that Mohan Babu may play the King of Golconda, Abu Hassan Tani Shah. He has evinced interest to play this historic character.

History has it that this king imprisons Sri Ramadasu. But upon seeing his devotion, the King sets him free. It is a tale rooted in Indian legend.

If Mohan Babu does indeed play the role, it will be no surprise as he had earlier played King Saluva Narasimha Raya in Nags-Raghavendra Rao film Annamaiya.

Any way Mohan Babu is ready to cast his lot. Now it is up to the makers to accept him or not.

The film will go to the floors in August.
