Talks are on between Kamal Haasan and director Selvaraghavan for a film to be produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers. This production house had earlier produced the Kamal Haasan film Anbe Sivam. They have Daas starring Jeyam Ravi and Renuka Menon on the floors.

Sonia Agarwal after completing her two films is to turn associate director to Selvaraghavan. Sonia is currently acting in Oru Kalorien Kathai opposite Arya, Puthupettai with Dhanush and Fazil’s Oru Naal Oru Kanavu.

In Oru Kalorien Kathai the director says that Sonia’s involvement in her work was amazing.She plays a Vaishnavite girl.

For this she spoke to many girls from this caste and studied their body language and ways that they follow at home. She got the dresses worn by the real Vaishnavite girls and asked the costumer to design accordingly.

She gave the director the tips on how to concieve this character. Nandha Periyasamy the director of Oru Kalorien Kathai swears that she will be remembered for long as Jothi after the release of his film.

On the personal front she has denied that she will get married in January 2006. Kasthoori Raja the father of Selvaraghavan stated this. Sonia says that she will marry only after two years.
