'Captain' Vijayakanth is not a man to beat around the bush or vacillate.

He calls a spade a bloody shovel.

He is nurturing political ambitions, and was all expected to launch his new party this September.

But the man in a hurry may not wait till that long.

Sources close to the actor say Vijayakanth may advance the launch of his political party.

With the ruling party (AIADMK) having won the by-elections to the two Assembly constituencies, it is now expected that the State government may think of going for an early Assembly elections.

In that case, Vijayakanth who is keen on forming a political party and testing the waters in the elections, would need some time to consolidate his base and fight the polls.

Hence Vijayakanth has reportedly made up his mind to announce his political entry much before this September.
