Six light men, who were holding huge vapor lamps at AVM Studios where a song was being shot, fell from a 50-feet high wooden shaft Saturday. While three of them are said to be out of danger, the rest are fighting for their lives with severe head injuries.

Dance master Brindha was choreographing the song involving Suryah and Nila. At that moment, six light men who were holding vapor lamps in a wooden shaft set up close to terrace fell down as the wooden log gave way.

When the mishap occurred, Suryah, Nila, Brindha and cinematographer Venu were on the spot. The shooting was immediately called off and those critically injured were rushed to a private hospital in Vadapalani.
