"I have a passion to direct movie and very soon I would venture into it".

It is the soft-spoken Vijay who said this.

Just as everyone was thinking that he is content playing to the gallery with his formula film, Vijay has revealed his other side.

He feels he should get into direction soon. But he is keeping it under wraps when that would actually happen.

Meanwhile, asked about his forthcoming release Sivakasi, Vijay says, "it has place for action, romance and sister sentiment at the right mix. I am confident that this movie would be liked by women".

"After Thirupachi, I am joining hands with Perarasu again. I was impressed with the way he narrated the story to me. I immediately decided to go ahead with this script".

Vijay is under no illusions as to what he wants to deliver in his movies.

"I am a commercial hero who loves to entertain the audience. However, I love to do variety roles. But it should be in regular intervals".

Vijay sure knows which side of the bread is buttered.
