This remake syndrome is a strange thing.

Once you are bitten by it, you can never come out of it.

Ask Rajasekhar he will tell you.

The action-hero just cannot seem to act in straight movies.

His last three movies, including Seshu and Aptudu, were remakes.

His current film, being directed by Koti Ramakrishna, is said to be an expensive remake of a Malayalam hit by name Runaway. The film stars the tall and shapely Namitha as the heroine.

Now the news that is that Rajasekhar is ready for another remake.

This time he wants to do the Tamil Madurey in Telugu.

According to industry reports, Satyanarayana Reddy, of Bunny fame, would produce this film. It would go to the floors on 11th April.

In a sense, it is ironic that a Vijay's films should be remade as because the Tamil hero has made a name for himself there by remaking many successful Telugu ventures. In fact, he has a particular liking for Mahesh Babu's films.
