Prakashraj is not just talented actor who can perform any role with ease but also a producer who is keen on exploring the talents of youngsters.

A lover of good cinema, Prakashraj says, "it's has been my desire to encourage young talents which prompted me to come out with Duet Films".

But Prakashraj knows that it is an expensive hobby. Yet the desire to make good meaningful movies that are offbeat and interesting has prompted him to produce films now and then.

"Though my debut production venture Naam did not succeed, it brought to light the talents of few youngsters. My next Azhagiya Theeyae succeeded for it had an innovative theme and a pleasant script. It provided an opportunity for a youngster like director Radha Mohan to expose his talents," he says with conviction and pride.

So what's he up to now?

"I am busy making Kanda Naal Mudhal, which again is directed by a debutant Priya, an one-time associate of Manirathnam. The movie has so far come out good and I am happy to bring to light the talents of a woman director".
