Vijay's forthcoming film Sachin is almost nearing completion.

Directed by newcomer John, son of veteran director Mahendran, Sachin is a youthful entertainer starring Boys fame Genelia D'Souza and Bollywood's sex siren Bipasha Basu.

Interestingly, Vijay, who is known for singing mass number in his movies has sung a typical song in the movie too. Set to tune by Tollywood's famous music-composer Devi Sri Prasad with whom Vijay shares a good rapport, the song goes like this... Vadi Vadi Kai Padatha CD.

The song was recorded recently.

Devi Sri Prasad was all praise for Vijay after the song was recorded. "It's a mass number which is sure to make it to the top of the audio charts", says the music-composer.

Vijay, who is enjoying a rich vein of form, is making everyone dance to his tunes.
