In the recently held audio launch function of Sivakarthikeyan-Keethi Suresh starer Rajini Murugan`, whatever the film`s producer and a director of several box office success films, N.Lingusamy spoke, proved him to be a man of unshakable self confidence`. There has been a sudden spurt of failures in this director-producer`s camp, but all those seem to have had little impact in his confidence.

Lingusamy`s film-making career has blockbuster hits as well as flops. As a producer, he has some super hit as well as critically acclaimed films like Kumki` to his credit. But his last film as a director Anjaan`failed to live up to the expectation and did not set the cash registers ringing at the box office. Followed by his production venture Uttama Villain` which was announced to release on May 1, this year had to be postponed for one and a half days due to financial issues. Now his next production venture Rajini Murugan` has also allegedly stuck up with financial issues and a shadow of doubt has been cast upon smooth release of the film.

However Lingusamy in a speech filled with confidence, dispelled all such doubts asserting that he will release the film at any cost.

In an apparent reference to those who paved the way for the last moment postponement of its release, he said “I have seen many Uttamans (Good hearted people) and Villains (wicked people) in this film industry. One who fails to correctly recognize them, cannot sustain in the industry ”

Referring to his recent spurt of failures, he said “I came from Kumbakonam with empty hands. An astrologer told my brother that I cannot succeed in my attempts to make a film at all and asked me to come back. I told my brother that I will direct my first film in a few months and arrange a special screening for that astrologer . I still retain that confidence. When I see Rajini Murugan` posters, I get the hope that this film will solve all the problems I am facing now. I will definitely win over the struggles I face in releasing Rajini Murugan” said Lingusamy brimming with confidence and hope.

Lingusamy said“I wish to tell this to the people who compared Rajini Murugan with MGR (Vishal film Madha Gaja Raja which has been completed long back but stuck up due to financial issues). This film will release on the date announced. I will sell all my assets to release this film.”

Lingusamy pointed out that while he wanted to keep Sivakarthikeyan in Rajini`s place with the title Rajini Murugan`, the detractors wanted to place him a step higher with comparing him with MGR.

Lingusamy also thanked Sivakarthikeyan and the entire unit of Rajini Murugan for working in the film without caring about salary. “I wish to thank everyone from assistant directors to Sivakarthikeyan for working in this film without caring about whether they would receive their salary “

He also said that there were people who advised Sivakarthikeyan to not sign a film under the Tirrupathi Banner as Lingusamy was not in a good position and the shooting of the film could not be completed at all. “We have proved those words wrong and have completed the shooting of the film Now they say we can not release the film. We will break that also”.
