Coming from Malluwood, Meera Jasmine had a dream start here with the blockbuster Run.

Unfortunately, her subsequent movies including Jhoot, Anjaneya and Bala bombed at the box-office and she dissappeared from the scene.

And she also was linked in unseemly controversies that kept the film rags in business for long. The messy fight with her family members did not exactly enhance Meera's reputation.

But Thanks to the National Award won by her this year for her extraordinary performance in a Malayalam movie Oru Padam Viloopam, she is back in the thick of things here.

She is playing the heroine opposite Prasanna in Kasthoorimaan directed by her mentor Lohithdass.

She has also been assigned to appear for a dance number in Cheran's next Thavamai Thavamirindhu. Besides she will also play the heroine in Cheran's movie which would go to floors before this year-end.

Happy tidings are back for Meera Jasmine.
