Amala Paul will play Mohanlal's wife in the movie 'Lailaa O Lailaa'. The movie is a thriller, big on action including gun fights, fist fights and car chase. 'Lailaa O Lailaa' has some high octane stunts and will have Mohanlal flexing his body. Amala plays Lailaa, the title role and as the protagonist's wife, she is his biggest risk as opponents try to capitalize on his love for her to avenge him.

This is not the first time that Mohanlal and Amala Paul are playing a couple. They had previously paired up for the movie 'Run Baby Run' which was a resounding success. However, this is the first time that they are playing a married couple and Amala herself had stated that the couple are much closer with each other than her previous outing with Mohanlal.
