A bull played an important role in Kamal Haasan 's Virumandi.

The jallikattu scenes were shot with the bull, specially brought and taken care of by Kamal Haasan.

Interestingly in Mumbai Express, Kamal Haasan has gone for a horse. Besides Kamal Haasan, the horse is said to play a prominent role in Mumbai Express. A pedigree horse has been brought specially to act in the movie.

Quite unlike in other films, the horse is said to have an importance that very intrinsic to the story.

Kamal camp says that it is wrong that the presence of a horse should not make it like a Thevar-film.

With Kamal and horse, some sections cannot help saying: There are two studs in the film, then.
