With Uthama Villain` gearing up for release on the 10th of April Ulaganayagan Kamal shared touching incidents that he witnessed while working with the two great legendary Directors K.Balachander and K.Viswanath. Back in 2013, when Kamal went to request KB to act in Uthama Villain his mentor was who was ailing at the time was worried that he would die halfway through the film and cause unnecessary complications to the project. Only after a teary eyed Kamal assured that he would change the script if at all that happened, did KB agree to do the role and he departed to his heavenly abode only after completing dubbing for Uthama Villain. Such was K. Balachander`s dedication to cinema.

Similarly, on the sets of Uthama Villain` the legendary director K. Viswanath touched KB`s feet for blessings. A shocked KB told K.Vishwanath who was older than him that it was inappropriate to do so to which K.Vishwanath replied that he did it in admiration for the great films of K.Balachander
