Thanks to Kadhal's success at the box-office, Balaji Sakthivel is flooded with offers. The director however has chosen to do his next too for his mentor director Shankar.

Balaji Sakthivel says, "I was running from pillar to post to have this story filmed. Unfortunately nobody came forward to produce the movie. My director (Shankar) listened to the story once and immediately impressed with the script gave a go ahead. Why not I do another movie for my mentor for his kind heartedness?"

A token of gratitude perhaps.
