In recent times we have seen audio launches of films taking place in unique places like Cruisers, Airplanes, etc. 'Ruthramadevi' starring Anushka in the title role is a Tamil/Telugu bilingual and is the costliest heroine oriented film ever produced in India.
The director Gunasekar has planned the audio release to be a grand and unique event and in the process has chosen, as the venue, the 13th Century Warangal Fort which was built during the times of the original Ruthramadevi. Though permission is pending with the Government of India Archeology department, the team is confident of a positive result.
The magnum opus Ruthramadevi` boasts of a stellar cast which includes Allu Arjun, Rana Dagubatti, Nithya Menon, Catherine Tressa,Suman, PrakashRaj and Brahmanandham. Music by Maestro Illayaraja, Camera by Ajayan Vincent and Editing by Srikhar Prasad are the major highlights and the film is gearing up for a grand worldwide release in April.
