Just the other day, he was quoted as saying that he wouldn't want to go back on action films.

But he seems to have changed his mind much quickly than a trapeze artiste can make a somersault.

But that is filmdom for you. And Srikanth, the hero in question, has had to change his words.

So why did he change his words and gone back to doing cutie-pie romantic hero roles? Well, he has had an offer from Fazil and he couldn't say a 'no'.

Srikanth is currently playing the lead role in cinematographer turned director K V Anand's Kana Kandein.

According to Srikanth, "I have switched over to romance again not because my action-oriented films like Bose, Varnajalam and Jhoot failed at the box office, but because I want to get back to my forte - romantic films. An actor has to play a variety of roles. I proved my mettle playing an action hero in my films last year. So I want to soft roles now".

Meanwhile, Srikanth's Sathurangam will hit the theatres on the Valentine's Day. "I am hoping for a good beginning this year", he adds
