Popular singer Vijay Yesudas is playing a key role in Dhanush's upcoming film 'Maari', helmed by Balaji Mohan of 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi' fame.

According to sources, Vijay is playing a police officer with grey shades in this movie, which is taking shape fast. Nearly 60 per cent of the shoot is said to be over.

Kajal Aggarwal is the heroine of 'Maari', produced by R Sarathkumar, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Listen Stephen. Music is by Anirudh.
