If 2003 saw more than 50 new faces make their debut as heroes, the year 2004 certainly belonged to seniors in the field.

Senior actors like Kamal Haasan acted in two movies, Vijayakanth and Sarath Kumar had four releases while Sathyaraj had the maximum of five releases this year.

Of course, the big daddy of them all, Rajnikanth's, comeback vehicle Chandramukhi is on its way to the theaters.
