After four long years of hard work, Shankar's magnum opus has hit the screens in class The question is, how many screens? A quite many, as we can see. Taking into account the Chennai screens alone, the count is in cool hundreds, with the maximum contribution from the famous multiplex, Mayajaal; all the screens put together are to screen 78 shows of 'I' on it's first day. It is followed by AGS Villivakkkam screening 25 shows for the day.

AGS Navalur screens 19 for the day, apart from SPI conglomerate that also celebrates 'I'. This count is apart from the many other screens across the city. It is to be remembered, we are talking only about Chennai, in all this. The number of screens for Chiyan's Pongal release is definitely mind-blowing.
