According to the latest grapevine Chandramukhi will be remade in Hindi with Sharukh khan in the lead role. Other Cast and crew are not yet finalized. Sivaji film will produce the Hindi version too. Most likely Rajkumar Santoshi will direct the film. Santoshi has been signed to direct a Tamil film too for Sivaji films . The dispute of Chandramukhi is now been discussed by South India Film Chamber . Navodaya Appachan producer who now owns Kishkinta the amusement park in Chennai was mistaken for Sargachithra Appachan and dragged into the controversey.
