The sixth controversy that triggered the social networking sites writing blogs and comments was that Deepika Padukone being targeted for exposing her cleavage by nation`s most reputed newspaper Times of India. The outrage and counter-reaction of this news generated a furor in both print and electronic media. Deepika Padukone boldly confronted the publication house by its horn.
The seventh slot in the great controversies of the year goes to the Ranbir Kapoor losing his temper and attacking the paparazzi. Few TV channel crew members got information that Ranbir and Kartina Kaif are driving home together. Hence they hid near the house and kept surveillance to get a snap of the couple. However Ranbir noticed them and got so wild that he turned violent and attacked a TV channel crew member.
Eminent TV artist and struggling Bollywood actress Gauhar Khan being slapped in public wins the eight spot in this year`s controversy list. The reality queen was slapped on her face by a 24 year Muslim youth, Mohammad Akil Malik, while she was shooting for a television show at Film City. The youth was immediately arrested and FIR was lodged. The accused Malik retorted to such an act as he angry over the actress offensive dress style. He was booked on charges of molestation and assault.
Like each year this year too, drama Queen Mallika Sherawat, stole the thunder and registered her name in the list controversies of 2014. She hit headlines for disgracing the Indian flag by draping it on her in the poster of DIRTY POLITICS. She occupies ninth position.
Priyanka Chopra occupies the last ladder in the list of top 10 controversies of 2014. The actress, who won fame for her superlative performance in MARY KOM, was dragged into sex racket controversy. Mumbai Police discovered a sex racket being supposedly executing under the name of a spa in a posh building in Mumbai. Incidentally the property belonged to Priyanka Chopra but was rented to the spa owner, who conducted the illegitimate flesh trade in the guise of spa!
