The audio success meet event of 'Lingaa' has been held at 'The Park' hotel in Hyderabad. K.Viswanath, Super Star Rajinikanth, Trivikram Srinivas, Anushka Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, K.S.Ravikumar, R.Rathnavelu, Allu Aravind, Sonakshi Sinha, Nandu Ahuja of Eros International etc have attended the event.

K.Viswanath said, "I used to have two wishes in my life. One is working as an assistant for K.Balachander and Bapu for at least one week and the other is acting with Rajinikanth. Both of them have been fulfilled this year. I acted in 'Uttama Villain' along with K.Balachander and I acted with Rajinikanth in 'Lingaa'. Youngsters should learn a lot from Rajinikanth. The respect he shows towards elders is really praise worthy.He will always have my blessings"

Jagapathi Babu said, "Some are asking me what made me sign 'Lingaa'. It is only Rajinikanth. Travelling with him has been a great experience. I was brought up in Chennai and I used to watch his every film. I don't know if I should tell this now or not. But I want to tell it. I worked with Rajinikanth for 'Kathanayakudu'. I used to think Rajinikanth is either a good actor or a good human being. But after working for that film, I understood that he is both a great actor and great human being. While working for that film, I asked Rajini how he is so simple and down to earth, even though he is such a big actor. He said "I don't know why. I couldn't forget that I was a bus conductor once". He is such a humble person. Even after becoming a Super Star, he still remembers that he is a bus conductor once. I am really happy to be a part of 'Lingaa'".

Allu Aravind said, "When I came here, someone asked me how the film would be. I said that it will be good. But after watching the trailer, I am sure that it will be a wonderful film. I am eagerly waiting to watch the film after watching the trailer. I have a good relation with Rajinikanth. I have travelled with him for a year and produced a super hit film with him. We tried to work together again. But it didn't happen. I hope it will happen in the future. Rockline Venkatesh is also a good friend of mine. He is the first person, who comes to my mind, whenever I want a help in Bangalore. When a person filed a case against 'Badrinath' and brought a stay for the release in Bangalore, he was the person who solved the problem within a day. This film will be definitely a big hit".

Trivikram said, "Right from 'Padayappa', I want the combo of Rajinikanth and K.S.Ravikumar to see once again. I am happy that they worked together once again. Every movie lover is a fan of Rajinikanth. Rockline Venkatesh is also a good friend of mine. I hope this film will be another big hit for Rajinikanth".

K.S.Ravikumar said, "It's been a long time since I did a Telugu film. I learnt some Telugu then. I thank Rajini sir for giving me this opportunity to work with him once again. For the first time in his career, a film is going to be released. The film will be a birthday gift for him. It is really a honour working with K.Viswanth and when working for this film, I got friends like Jagapathi Babu and sisters like Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha. Completing such a big film in 6 months is not at all easy. But we did it with everyone's co operation. We have done our bit and are waiting for the result". Ratnavelu said, "I am an ardent fan of Super Star Rajinikanth and I am really happy that I worked with him once again after 'Robot'. K.S.Ravikumar is a director who completes films at breakneck speed. I couldn't believe that this big film was completed in such a short time".

Rajinikanth said, "I am really sad about the victims of the Hudhud cyclone. I was supposed to attend the Tollywood industry's event to raise the funds. But I wasn't able to make it to the event as I had to attend two marriages. I am very sorry about it. As soon as I reach Chennai, I will send my donation. Director K.S.Ravikumar should be really praised for completing such a big project like 'Lingaa' in just 6 months. I don't mean that this is a big project because big actors and technicians worked for this film. It is because, the subject is big and the backdrop is big. It is set in a pre indepence era and in 40 out of 60 scenes, there are more than 1000 artists. There are scenes involving a big dam. There are surprises in this film. The first is even busy artists and technicians worked for this film, the project has been completed in 6 months. The second is 4 to 5 people have claimed that the story is their's. Many have shown interest in the film, after they came to know that my film has a story. But the story is not their's, it is Pon Kumaran's. The third is I had worked very hard for this film. I am not talking about the train fight or the other action sequences. I am talking about how I felt when dancing for duets with Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka. I felt very tensed then and I've never felt so nervous. Even when working for the first scene of my first film, I didn't feel so tensed. Sonakshi has grown up infront of me. Ratnavelu openly said at the audio launch of 'Lingaa' that he had worked very hard to show me handsome. Really he did a great job. Being a senior in the industry I have to tell something to the present generation. K.S.Ravikumar and me said that even big projects like this can be completed in a very short period. Everyone should learn from it. 'Baahubali' is an exception for this. I've been observing the work of 'Baahubali'. Hats off to Rajamouli. He is a very good technician and he is going to be no.1 director in India. If I get an opportunity, I would really like to work with him. Jagapathi Babu is a gentleman. I worked with him for 'Kathanayakudu'. But I got the opportunity to know about him, when working for 'Lingaa'. He is a very good human being. Allu Aravind is asking when I am going to start my next film. First of all give good story for Chiranjeevi.He has been waiting for a long time. I hope this film will be a good success".

Anushka said, "Everyone worked very hard for this film with the love towards Rajini sir. It has been a pleasure working with him. K.S.Ravikumar is a very good director and I never worked with someone so quick. The number of working days for such a big film is very less".

Sonakshi Sinha said, "I'm completely out of words. Rajinikanth is such a simple and humble human being. I am really fortunate to have worked with him. I thank the director and everyone, who helped me so much regarding the language".
