Ghilli is Bollywood Bound

Ten years since Vijay`s Ghilli took Kollywood by storm, the movie`s screenplay and action content still is bankable and entertaining. Bollywood has always been in awe of the commercial content in South Indian movies and no wonder a movie like Ghilli is being remade in Hindi. Titled as “Tevar”, the film has young sensation Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in Vijay and Trisha`s role, and Manoj Bajpayee in Prakash Raj`s role.

Ghilli itself was a remake of Okkadu which had Mahesh Babu in the lead; however Dharani custom tailored Ghilli with a lot of humor content and was not a scene by scene remake, so it will be interesting to see how Tevar shapes out. The trailer for Tevar is out in Social media and appears to be a full on Masala treat!
