Sydney Sladen the famous fashion designer from Kenya is the dress designer for Rajnikant in Chandramukhi. The fashion designer currently in Chennai usually is assigned for Miss India shows or ramp shows of corporate houses. P Vasu in all out effort to create a rejuvenated Rajni and not make him look like `Baba’ is taking special care in the makeup. Vasu’s father was MGR’s makeup man and Vasu too knows about makeup. Now Sladen has designed around 90 costumes for Rajni and most of them have been approved. Sladen who hails from Chennai had migrated to Kenya and hit big time. He said that in his school- college days he used to collect stamp size photos of the Superstar ( you can guess the age of Sladen) and was thrilled to design costumes.

Sladen was first roped in by Susi Ganesan to design for `Five Star ‘ and then later for `Dhum’ coz Simbhu was very keen on Sladen. Could Aishwarya have passed on this info to dad?
