Time and tide wait for her

She has a figure to die-for. Her looks and the pomfret pout are every girl's dream.
But her career in Tollywood has been bit of a nightmare.
And Gazala herself, the actress in question, is slightly perplexed as to why her career has not got the momentum it should have. It is not in Telugu alone that she is stuck up in square one. In Tamil too, where she made an equally ambitious foray, Gazala has not got the right breaks.
These days she has been in the gossip columns for painting the town red with the son of a moneyed businessman. Does that mean she has given up on her career? Far from it, she says, "I am much keener now".
"I guess it is all time. I am waiting for that much-needed break and opening," Gazala says.
She is acting in Shravan Mansam produced and directed by Posani Krishna Murali. It is a big film with a star cast. But Gazala says she has a good role in it.
"I play a dyed in the wool village girl who is traditional and earthy. It is a character that will have lot of appeal. It is almost a deglamourised role.
Gazala accepts that her character is short one. But feels that its impact will be lasting. "The story revolves around me and my love interest Karthik (a new hero). I signed this movie only because my role provides me lot of scope for performance," she says.
Gazala is spreading herself far and wide and regrets missing out on offers from elsewhere while concentrating on Tamil. She now has two films from other languages ---Ram with R B Chowdary's son Jeeva in the lead and a Kannada film Raakshasa.
So looks like, time and tide are indeed turning for Gazala.
