After playing mother to Dr Shivarajakumar in Dore` the top actress Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana has agreed to play an important role in power star Puneeth Rajakumar film for the first time. Dr Bharathi is playing the role of elder sister to Dr Ambarish in this film Dodmane Huduga` that is shaping up in the direction of well known director Soori.

Dr Bharathi was heroine of Dr Rajakumar – father of Puneeth Rajakumar in nearly 28 films in the past.

It is in this film of power star Puneeth Rajakumar producer M Govindu the prominent star couple of Kannada filmdom Dr Ambarish and Sumalatha agreed to act together.

Whether sandalwood queen Ramya will be counterpart to Puneeth Rajakumar is not yet confirmed for Dodmane Huduga`. Ramya however commenced her career with Puneeth Rajakumar in Abhi` in Dinesh Baboo direction. She acted in Akash and Arasu later with Puneeth Rajakumar.

For Puneeth Rajakumar it is third film with director Soori. Jackie` and Anna Bond` made powerful sound in the box office.
