Sources in the Kollywood are in speculation and are currently saying that actress Keerthi Suresh is most probably to be cast opposite Sivakarthikeyan in his next film, which is tentatively titled Rajini Murugan. The film will be directed by Ponram who will be working with Sivakarthikeyan for the second time after Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.

“It is true that we are in talks with the actress. However, nothing has been finalized as of now. We will be in a position to confirm in a day or two," said the director, when asked about this. Earlier, there were reports that actresses Lakshmi Menon and Tammannaah had been approached for the project. Sources say that shooting for this film, which is said to be a commercial entertainer, is likely to begin on November 27. A major portion of the film is to be shot in Madurai. “While a majority of the sequences will be canned in Madurai, some portions will also be canned in Karaikudi," sources added.
