After delivering back to back hits actor Sivakarthikeyan who is one of the most sought after heroes in Ktown industry today has acts as a Police officer in Taana`.The role reportedly has some serious undertones and it is not just limited to comedy. The film which marks the reunion of successful Ethineechal` team of Sivakarthikeyan, director Durai Senthilkumar, Producer Dhanush and music director Anirudh is reportedly completed but for a the shoot of a song. Sridviya plays the heroine of the flick and this will be the second film for the young lass with Sivakarthikeyan after the super hit Varuthapadada Valibar Sangam`.

Sources say that Sivakarthiekyan has added six Kgs of his body weight and has also increased his fitness by going to the gym regularly to be fit for the character of a police officer. It is also said that the actor got memories of his late father while acting in the film and got emotional often.

After finishing Taana` Sivakarthiekayna will be moving to Rajini Murugan` which will be directed by Ponram who made his debut with Varuthapadada Valibar Sangam`.
