About half-a-dozen years ago happened Friends for Vijay.

The movie starring Vijay and Surya collected huge revenues at the box-office. Appachan, who produced the movie then, is all set to produce yet another with Vijay now.

When Vijay has become a commercial hero in whose movies action has become a necessary thing, Appachan wants to give a romantic grosser with Vijay.

Sources say the hotshot Cheran would direct the movie.

Appachan apparently has spoken to the director, who has expressed his desire to be behind the camera in the movie.

Vijay has a couple of films including Thirupachi that would be completed by September, while Cheran has to complete his Touring Talkies and Pokkisham.

The Vijay-Cheran movie would go top floors next September and get ready for release on January 2006.

Would be a wait that will be worth it, nah?
